Strawberry Jelly

This blog has taken a culinary twist of late, but here was my new project: Strawberry Jam.  This was yet another idea I shamelessly stole from Alicen, and her directions for the project are great.  I used her basic proportions, but I just tossed it all into my bread machine, yup the bread machine, and set it off on the "jelly" setting.  Sure enough, smooth, sweet, nicely setting up jelly was the result.  Almost seems unsporting...

I am so digging out my bread machine to see if it has a jelly setting.

I know that her process is pretty simple. But it still has 12 steps. And that's just too many for this busy mommy.

Hope your jelly is yummers!

Not sure what I did, but this may be a double post...

OK, so my bread machine does NOT have a Jelly making setting.

Maybe I'll give jelly making a go next weekend if we can get some good berries at a good price.

Have to put pectin on the shopping list.
