Free Your Mind Fridays

  • Things are finally moving along with our claim on the damaged move stuff.  I am sure we are a long way from done, but hey any progress is good progress.
  • I am looking forward to getting back into working out when the claim is done and I can replace my demolished stationary bike.  While I cannot motivate myself to work out after the kids go to bed since the allure of TV is just too great, I figure once I can work out while watching TV things might get easier. It is pathetic I know!
  • Despite my lack of blogging lately I have a ton of stuff to write about:
    • the time-out dramas
    • the amazing book I just finished
    • stuff I want to do with the blog
    • the garden plans
  • I am obsessed with this song, I have probably listened to it a bjillion times in the past few days.
  • I think I have re-broken/badly sprained my  left foot.  Logically I should see a doctor, but any kind of cast/splint would render me unable to drive or chase kids.....so yeah, pretty much wondering if I should even bother.
  • I got adorable new glasses!  This is only exciting to me, but still exciting.
Honestly not much is going on here.  Things have been so normal I am almost amazed at the easy-breezy-ness of it all.  I am going to write that off as a good thing!

This week's players:

I am OBSESSED with Mumford & Sons. I loved Little Lion Man so much that I bought the whole album (I do that very infrequently anymore), and it has been on near constant repeat in the 3 weeks since.

Also--BOO to the foot injury!

Thanks for adding me though I didn't comment! Did I mention how crazy things are?

I really do hate the home early drama-llama that always ensues. Turns from "I was up all night so I'm not going in tomorrow" to "I have to go in to let people know X but I'll pick Nathan up from school" to "They scheduled a meeting at noon but I should be home after" and on it goes until 5 pm! I know you know all too well what I'm talking about.

Onto yours, you'll get the money. I really thought we'd have to fight since they damaged so much but they actually paid what they should have with no griping. I think your bike being in the line of fire is probably for the better. What better reason to get a brand new, cooler model?

Sorry about the foot but I can tell you from recent experience you'll be surprised what you can do with a awkward contraption on one of your appendages! If it hurts that bad it will feel much better to get it taken care of...unless you'd be on crutches. Then not so sure.

Oh and Christmas is soon approaching...a tutu will be in the box. Just send a hint about the color/s!
