Wonderful Wednesday

My Wonderful Wednesday is that the discipline around here has been working.  Cha Cha has been transformed into a fairly pleasant child and now I can honestly say that her occasional poor behavior is just age-appropriate shenanigans and not her former campaign to just be a pill about everything.  As an example of how well things are going, I did a major Mommy first last Friday. The girls and I went out to lunch just us and it was fine.  I had previously avoided this event since I was so sure that Cha Cha would do her best to make it a difficult experience, but now, it is not big deal.  I will talk about the time-outs later, but in a nutshell the system has shifted all the drama from "why are you doing this to me?" to "so sorry your actions have consequences, why are you doing this to yourself?"  It is just grand.  As for Lil'Bitz, she is evolving into her full-fledged "baby-sister" self, so yeah, I think she can get signed up for the regime ASAP.  Lesson learned dear readers, lesson learned.

I also have personal wonderful-ness.  I started running again yesterday and it felt great!  I am keeping a journal of the efforts here, so check in to see my progress.

Lastly, my blogging wonderful is that the blog now has a Facebook page.  It is pretty much useless since it allows none of the activities I envisioned using it for, but hey, at least it is up and running.  Now I think I need to build a persona to go with it since it is the only way I can figure out how to network to other bloggers while not having to subject them to my inane personal FB use...but that is a story for another day.

All in all, a very Wonderful Wednesday brought to you by Ginger at Ramble Ramble.

Huzzah for discipline working! J is starting to learn the joy of a tantrum (well, mostly it's just frustration, but sometimes it veers into tantrum territory), so I'm watching those of you with older kids closely to copy what you do.
