The Slump

In what can only be described as a ridiculous twist of fate, all my solo evenings seem to be leading to very little blogging.   In an attempt to remedy this I am going to assign myself a few weeks of exercises.  The theory is that I will have some posting protocols so I actually get stuff up here and hopefully get my groove back.  I am going to work though photos, lists, book reviews and shameless consumerism so as to kick start what will hopefully be a nice summer of blogging.

I will start with this photo of my girls because it never fails to make me smile.  This was the debut of their matching bunny PJs and the look of Bitz saying "cheese" is just the funniest thing I have ever seen.  Good thing they are cute because right now they may both have mono, so that is going to be so great.  I mean truly, amazingly great.  Even though we spent all morning traveling to multiple medical facilities so as to get all the care/tests we needed, it is all worth it when they are home safe and sound,  chilling and being so sweet.

I had mono years ago and it sucked big time! The thing that really got me was the month + of chronic fatigue resulting from the mono. Granted had I known at the time that it was mono then I would have at least had a reason for it but I digress.

Maybe with kids it ends up not too bad just because those darn suckers never seem to slow down anyway so you may not even notice the fatigue after the initial cold/flu symptoms subside. Or perhaps the fatigue will work to your benefit and you'll have 2 napping kids for a few weeks...one can always hope right?!

Good luck with all that, if I was local I would gladly help out but I think I'm too far away to be of any help that will actually help. You can always call if you need to vent, a few more months and we will be local :)
