High points that I feel must be looked at include, but are certainly not limited to:
- On What Angry Men Can Learn From Girls and Queers- I think this so well articulates why change is hard. It is hard because those most often in positions of power are there because their lives (male, white, affluent, Christian, straight, etc.) fit the rules of normalcy. Why would you be interested in change or even aware that there needs to be change?
- On the Fundamental Difference Between the Anti- and Pro-Choice Positions- This is exactly it. You are only as entitled to your rights as the next person. That is the bit that extreme conservatives seem to conveniently omit.
- On Projection and Homophobia- This one put into words exactly what I was trying to get at when I wrote this post. There is a line in this one that sums it all up so perfectly, you will know it when you see it, believe me.

I felt sad after reading Feminism 101. Is this really all the farther we have gotten?? It seems to me that decrying mysoginistic language and then referring to oneself as 'a greedy bitch' negates the decrying. And classifying all straight male sexuality as inherently predatory is just as flawed as classifying all gay male sexuality as uncontrollable. Thanks for the blog though, Alexis, I've really been enjoying your writings.
