Wake Up Call

Charlie: Mommy, my clock says seven.

Me: Is the first number seven?

Charlie: No.

Me: Then it is not wake up time.  Try and sleep or read a quiet book.

So you get the idea.  Clearly my plan to teach her to use the digital clock and chill out until 07:00 has failed.  In desperation I ordered the OK to Wake! Children's Alarm Clock and Nightlight hoping that the novelty of the new item will override her desire to torture me for an hour every morning.  I used to be the kind of parent who thought this was BS, surely you can teach a kid to just use a clock right?  Well, yeah.  Now I am the kind of parent who realizes her kids are way smarter than she is, and maybe, just maybe, some fancy glowing clock will earn me ten more vital minutes of sleep.

It should be here Tuesday.  I am super jazzed.

Sweet dreams y'all!

It's the best invention ever! Highly overpriced but in that moment of desperation it's worth every penny. I will warn though that it worked great for a while and then he just started getting up whenever anyway. Hopefully this won't happen to you. I will say even with that happening it's still better because you ask if the lights green and if no then they know what needs to happen. Also if I remember to give the speal when putting him into bed, he will stay until it's green the next morning.

I'm telling ya though you will LOVE it, it really is a Godsend!
