This post wraps up the "post every day in May" pledge inspired by Ginger at Ramble Ramble. I have to say I really enjoyed it and I owe a huge debt of thanks to Ginger for getting my blogging going again. I can't say everything I produced was blogging gold, but I think there was some good stuff in there. The most important thing is that I am actually writing here again. I am actually prioritizing this little bit of "my thing" every day.
The thing I found most surprising is that I do have stuff to write about. All the time. Every day. Knowing that I *had* to write about something each evening meant that I paid more attention to my "bloggable" thoughts during the day. I might follow a though experiment out a bit further, or dig deeper into a news item just because it could be good fodder for this space. I probably only used a tenth of the stuff that I could have, but I spent way more of the day stretching my brain. When your days generally slip by in a groudhog-day-esque blur, this is just the greatest thing ever.
I am curious to see what happens tomorrow. Will it feel nice to take a day off? Will I find myself feeling like the day is not done until I have written something? Either way, this blog is back.
